Akama Resort

The hotel advertised a heated pool. The pool was absolutely freezing! Kids wouldn’t even go in the pool and it was the end of September. We found lolly wrappers under the bed. The main part of the esplanade wasn’t within walking distance (for a young family) and most restaurants closed super early, 8pm at the latest, some even 1pm. Rooms were modern and spacious with a nice view.

Good value for money. Maybe time for a freshen up of the room. Pool heater also

Lovely place to stay. We had the 3 bedroom and it was so spacious and clean.

Friendly managers. Rooms are massive.

Room and views were wonderful Great for the kids even with the rain.

Enjoyed our stay, however it was not in walking distance to a lot of facilities. The bbq and grounds could have done with better maintenance.

As a couple we found the unit to be very comfortable and well located. Like most places it’s not brand new but pretty good really. We thought that the price was probably a little high for what it is but really we were very comfortable and enjoyed the location. We went to the Asian restaurant one night and it was terrific. Next night we joined friends at balaeno restaurant at the marina and highly recommend that too./ Yes we would go back again but would look next door for comparable pricing. The pool was great. Parking free and easy. The bed very comfortable.
