Akama Resort

Friendly staff, beautiful spacious room

This property has a five star view and location. However the penthouse was scruffy. Dirty walls in need of a paint. Carpet threadbare. Mould in showers. Decore devoid of character. Beds abd couch comfy. Very disappointing.

Akama is one of the best resorts in Hervey Bay. We really enjoyed staying there . Looking forward to stay there next time 😊

Great 3 bedroom apartment, which was clean with good facilities and close to the action at Urangan

We stayed in a Penthouse apartment with180 degree views of the water. Was beautifully appointed and fitted with everything you could need to cook up a storm. Balcony had a large BBQ which was ideal for dinner one night. Great time with professional hosts and wonderful facilities only a short drive or solid walk to the main town centre.

Very satisfied with the resort in general. Donna in reception was both friendly and very efficient. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for her. In the apartment, all was as to be expected for four stars'

Size of the apartments were amazing! So spacious, some of the fixtures getting a bit dated and hard to operate - eg. blinds. The car parking is a real issue, having a big car the parks were tiny and when another big car was parked next to us we couldn’t both open our car doors, we ended up parking outside half the time which was less convenient.

Clean modern spacious friendly staff great location

Loved everything about our stay here. Apartment was lovely, with stunning views of the marina, ocean and Fraser Island. Staff knowledgeable and helpful. Would stay there again.
