Fabulous apartment for two couples, Soooooo roomy, with two big bathrooms and amazingly close to all the whale watching tours departure Marina. Full kitchen & laundry and huge deck.

Very roomy, clean & comfortable 3BR & enjoyed our stay even though it was only for 1 night. The only negatives although very minimal, there was no milk for the tea & coffee & the A/C was on a timer & shut off during the night

Lovely place to stay and staff are more than helpful Will be staying with them again

We went to lady Elliot one day and Fraser Island the next. Akama was a great base. Helpful, friendly owners and spacious apartment style rooms with washer dryers. Walk to the Dock for gods bar and food.

It was spacious very clean and modern everything nearby beach pier

We had a ground floor pool entrance two bed apartment for me and two kids, I have to say the place was cavernous.. I think it was as large as my house! Fixtures and fittings for fantastic, like a show home. I was very impressed with it. Super clean and really well appointed. The managers were super friendly & helpful, very knowledgeable of the area and happy to answer any questions, even down to restaurant reviews & activity options for kids. Place had a massive, very clean, safe pool which was a hit with the kids also. I dont think there was anything I didn't like really, if i had to pick the only down was no restaurant in house but the hotel right next door did breakfast really cheap & really nice so I didn't care at all, no drawback really. Planning on holidaying in Hervey again so we will be back at the hotel again for sure, probably requesting the same room to. Thanks Akama Resort, loved it.
