Village Hotel Wirral

Had a fantastic stay with my aunt. The staff where all extremely friendly and welcoming. Room was very spacious and comfortable. The food in the bar and grill was delicious. My aunt has been a vegetarian for nearly 40 years and said the vegetarian burger was the nicest she has ever had. The rewards app is a great incentive to use at the bar. Breakfast this morning was lovely. Will definitely return

I had a fantastic experience at the bar in the Village Hotel Wirral thanks to Ruth. She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout the evening. Her positive attitude and excellent customer service really stood out and made us feel valued as guests. Ruth worked hard even when the bar was busy and still managed to serve everyone with a smile. She’s a real credit to the hotel, and I’d happily return because of the great service she provided.

I’ve been a member at Village Gym Bromborough for a while now and honestly can’t praise the team enough. The whole place has such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, and it genuinely feels like more than just a gym — it feels like a community. A special mention has to go to Paul and Mel from the pool area, who do such a noticeable job keeping the poolside and changing rooms spotless. The cleanliness standards are consistently excellent when they are around and it really doesn’t go unnoticed. The reception staff are always warm, welcoming and approachable, especially Louise and Caroline. Their friendliness and positive attitude can genuinely make coming to the gym that much easier, even on days when motivation is low. Being greeted with a smile makes such a difference. The personal training team are also fantastic — always friendly, approachable and happy to help or offer advice without ever making the environment feel intimidating. Being part of Village Gym has given me a real sense of community and routine, and it’s become a place I genuinely enjoy spending time in. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a gym with great facilities and even better people

Friendly helpful staff .. good food choices, rooms were clean modern and comfy. good facilities pool sauna steam room .. short bus ride into town we had a lovely stay and would recommend this hotel highly

Great stay and hotel, the staff were amazing and very helpful. We have stayed there before and wouldn't hesitate to stay again. The food in the Grill was perfect, the pool was great (maybe too many kids), the steam and Jacuzzi were also very good. The hotel and rooms were very clean.

This is a lovely hotel - the leisure facilities - including padel! - are really good. Hotel bar has a mini cinema built in too and regularly shows sports it seems. Beer is hotel prices - £6.50 per pint and the food is also on a par with this. My only gripe is that my 'newly refurbed room' (on the 1st floor) was very warm indeed and there's no air con. The walls are fairly this too - or the couple next to be were VERY loud :-)

Staff were exceptional. Would highly recommend! Nothing too much trouble. Great facilities too. Would have no hesitation going back again. Really enjoyed our stay. Swimming pool really nice with steam room and sauna as well.

Location perfect, staff excellent, helpful. Food very good.
