I was able to walk to the property from where the Intercity coach dropped me off. It is about 20 min walk by road. There is also a coastal path from the property into town. Shirley was very welcoming. I was able to leave my rucksack at the property after I checked out and Shirley’s husband very kindly offered to bring it to me in town later in the afternoon. My room was very comfortable and had everything I needed. The property is next door to a very good supermarket so I was able to have my breakfast and evg meal in my room as there is a little kitchenette.

This felt like a kiwi batch. Our unit was the only one with a lovely beach view. The gate leads to the beach, which is a very short walk (1-2 minutes).

Great location, clean and tidy. Allowed us to check in early. Staff were lovely.

A bit dated. Would have been nice to have face cloths and tissues. A minor point but most places have these.
