Great location and pool/spa area was good.

No pan in the kitchen, so wasn’t able to cook anything.

There was not really much to like about this. So many things were wrong!

So the cleanliness of this unit was appalling. The bathrooms were not cleaned with mold around the bath and shower. The cooking utensils were dirty. The dining table almost broke as the legs were wobbly. The door handle to the unit was hard to open. Uncomfortable beds and microwave should have been thrown out as was rusted and old!

Cleaning from previous tenant wasn’t up to expectations. Management was informed and offered to fix immediately.

The location was great, easy access to the beach and the highway. The second apartment we were moved to was lovely.

We notified Miami Beachside Holiday Apartments we would be a late check in and they kindly arrange access to the key via a lockbox. When we opened the door we were hit with an over powering smell of heavy spices and curries. The odour was so embedded it was in the mattresses too making it impossible to sleep. We brought this to the attention of staff via the booking.com app and in person at reception the next morning. Reception promised to have another apartment cleaned that day and move us asap and contact us as soon as the apartment was ready. I waited till 3pm with no contact from reception so went to see them. Only to be told they couldn’t get a cleaner so went would have to stay in the curry and spice odoured apartment for another night again. This was not acceptable the smell was overpowering. The apartment had other issues like paper stuck over holes in the doors/walls, huge dint in the freezer door, the description said there were modern appliances but everything was incredibly old and out dated, everything that had previously been repaired was evident and not done professionally or properly. Food had been left in the fridge, kitchenware was not clean and the furniture and decor looked like it came from various garage sales. We were so disappointed after driving from the south coast of nsw to arrive to this disgusting apartment and to be made to stay in to for two days. Also staff used our parking space so we had to park elsewhere.

No dvd player or cd player as stated or dvds, no sofa bed, no cleaning products in the unit, safety deposit box didn’t work and was filthy and when opened had a cockroach inside, light above kitchen table didn’t work, fan not great in main bedroom barely working and full of dust, door handle to get into apartment only opened upwards, fridge was filthy and rusty, bin in bath room was rusty, under the couch had lots of rubbish and tissues and so much hair, the main bedroom remote control didn’t work for the tv so couldn’t watch tv, bathroom bath was full of dirty scrub and lint filter in dryer was full of lint, before arrival we asked for room to be cleaned thoroughly due to sons allergies and they informed it would be clean properly for us clearly by the photos it wasn’t cleaned at all 😡 wasn’t the unit we originally booked on booking.com we booked a higher ground and got the ground floor, we even asked for rubbish bags and vacuum to clean our unit as no house keepers came to clean in the 10 days we were there, they had no black garbage bags and gave us small white bags vacuum had to wait 2 hours to be charged and then it only vacuumed main bedroom and half the hall way before going flat, they told me no need to clean was cleaners will clean it I stated no one has been in to clean while we have been here they told me I was checking out that day I told them no they argued with me until they looked on the computer to look up my reservation and realised I was right didn’t even apologise for there mistake, we won’t be staying here again in the future
