Great service as soon as we arrived, easy conversation and seamless check in. Great room size with everything we needed for our overnight stay. Parking right outside your room, lots of information about the town and what to do nearby. Also a book about the owners which was a great addition

Not a dislike but just a dated feeling of the fixtures which in a way does add to its charm

Location was great. Walking distance to shops. Each room is a cottage and has a feel of a full home. Even though the place is facing the State Highway 1, we were not disturbed by the sounds of vehicles on the road. I loved the wooden interiors. Room was spacious and beds spread to enable space. Had all the amenities needed for a dew days. Gave towels on asking. Wouldn't use their soaps etc. as they didn't look clean enough. Kitchen had everything you need to cook. Enough storage space, plug points etc. Ground floor, so very easy to get out for walks. Car porch which was so handy in the rainy days. Lovely staff. Comfortable beds, plenty of pillows and sheets.

Taps. They are way too old and there wasn't any mixer in the kitchen or toilet. It was very hard to adjust as I am never used to the separate hot and cold taps. I think the kitchen, bathroom and toilet could do with some renovation. Also, only two chairs for the small dining table even though the room was meant for three people. Same with the sofa. Outdoor furniture also could have been for three people. No modern plug points, so for charging USB cables, you need to bring your own charger.

A friendly and welcoming staff who showed us to a very comfortable dog friendly unit.

The mattress was a bit too soft for us but that's an individual thing.

Nice Location near River with many pleasant walking options. Pet friendly. Fully equipped, and full kitchen. Very friendly owner.

A little bit noisy if you are in a cabin near the highway, but not hugely bothered by it,as I'm a heavy sleeper. No air con, just fans. Would probably be cold in winter as they're old school, retro buildings.

Thankful to have a place to stay for a night
