Tongariro River Motel

Lovely place to stay, more in tune with fishing then anything else but I guess that is the nature of the area. Lovely couple who own the place and whilst it may seem old fashioned, love to have a chat and meet the people who stay in their units. It may seem outdated and not to everyone's taste the decor, but the beds are comfortable and the shower is hot, you can cook or go out for a meal, and you have your own covered carspot. Close to the state highway, alpine crossing nearby, fishing down the road, mountains at your doorstep.

The property was a little bit older and needed some work done. The location was good.

L'accueil et la patience qui m'ont été réservé. La distance du centre, proche mais tout en restant au calme. Motel parfait pour les pêcheurs, car possède des équipements spécifiques (Évier de grattage, étendoir, ...).

Fridge isn't cold or freezing enough. Heater at lounge wasn't working :)
