SpringHill Suites by Marriott Cincinnati Midtown

This was a very quiet clean hotel and comfortable. There was a few hairs in the shower they I cleaned out but other than that , it was clean and nest and comfortable. Staff was helpful and accommodating and breakfast was kept stocked and was decent. Coffee was very tasty

Very close to shopping, restaurants and the baseball and football fields.

The property itself was very nice and felt welcoming with great essential amenities. Beds were comfortable. Convenient location. Elevators very quick. Pool was refreshing.

Our bathroom door in 314 was very hard to close and noisy making it difficulty to shut at night when trying to not disrupt sleep of others. The breakfast options were a little to be desired as far as cooked items personally.

The only reason it gets 3 stars is nice helpful front desk person. Room was very humid even with ac full blast. Room was dark, weird layout. No maid service unless staying more than 2 nights. Terrible breakfast- sticky floor, coffee jug always empty. Not in walking distance of anything. Surrounding area is questionable. Upon arrival kleenex box almost empty, comforter with spilled food on it but nice front desk woman replaced it. In future trips we will either stay downtown where there are places to walk to or in Oakley area.

Cierra (the manager of Spring Hill Suites) was fabulous to work with! She and her staff gave us outstanding service and consideration. We held our 50th High School Class Reunion reception in the lobby where our our of town classmates were staying. We flooded the lobby with friends who had not seen each other in years. The bartender worked at a quick clip to keep everyone smiling. Thank you to all of the staff that helped us every step of the way. It was an enjoyable and memorable evening at Springhill Suites Midtown. Thank you!

First room had a broken bathroom door that wouldn’t close, the receptionist said that most people just deal with it. Once we asked her for another room she did give us one. There was a 50th class reunion going on and I believe it was supposed to be in the banquet room but over 50 people were hanging around the lobby and drinking. This made getting into the lobby and to the elevator almost impossible. I had to try and explain to our 5 year old grandson why people kept bumping into him. We usually like to unwind in the lobby and drink some coffee but that wasn’t happening. This went on until after 11pm.

Location, musty smell in room, rolling bathroom doors that don’t lock! Pull out couch was small and was more of a roll out couch that was rough to sleep on

Room was dirty. Pizza stains on carpet and the couch was dirty. The smell of marijuana became overpowering at times. It apparently came from the room next door as the smell increased when there was activity there. The topper of the trip was the bed bug bites I got from sleeping on the sofa in the room.

Dirty sheets. But otherwise ok.
