Garden House Bed and Breakfast

The location, the neighborhood, the home. The host provided a history of the place that was very nice to know. There are sweet kitties on the property that make you feel right at home. Breakfast was offered.

Being an older home outlets weren't plentiful and the bathroom was a bit small though very adequate.

Cats in the house. Property manager should advise about cats. People might be allergic. Cats cried all night. We left quite early and did not stay for breakfast.

Location!!!!!! Great breakfast. Sunrises over the Mississippi from the porch. Wonderfully kind host. Street parking right in front and steps to everything! Two kitties live in the house but do not enter guest rooms. If you don’t like kitties, don’t stay here. We stayed in the servant’s room and LOVED WALKING everywhere. If steep hills and ancient sidewalks are not your thing you can drive five blocks to a muni lot in level downtown. You share the front porch with feral cats—I would rehome to another service entrance if I were the host.

The house was wonderful with lots of character and history. It was a bit disappointing to have a bathroom not connected to our room. The food was good every morning. The location was great and very easy to navigate around town from the house.

The breakfast was very good. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The owner has inside cats which moaned in the night. He warned us but I didn't understand at the time. I was fortunate I didn't have asthma because I'm allergic to cats. The outside was unkept but the inside room was very clean.

Room gets super hot, I'd recommend ya bring your own fan. The price is also kinda high
