"A relaxing haven"

Room was beautiful. We had a fireplace and a nice size balcony. Bed was extremely comfortable and the hotel was extremely clean and well kept. We had dinner in the dining room and that was a real treat. The food was so amazing (especially the desserts). Service was impeccable and everyone was very polite and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

"Perfect Getaway "

Beautiful scenery- Delaware River view from our Room and cute little seating area to watch the river going by. The Bar was warm and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully served. Just sorry I wasn’t there when it’s warm enough to really appreciate everything the inn has to offer. The room was cozy and spacious

Property view of water Incredible and walking trail by water, right on property. Staff very friendly, close 2 Delaware Canal Park, Bucks County Theater, n Peddlers Village. Rooms Very Clean, Breakfast was great, had item made and Continental breakfast combined. If I had 2 nitpick, no outlet nxt 2 bed, so phone had 2 charge on floor, have only old outlets n no fridge in room. Otherwise, Perfect!!

The 1740 House is a charming hotel along the Delaware River. The bar scene was lively and the room was clean and charming as well. Breakfast is made to order. Well worth the visit.

We had a nice weekend away at this cozy Inn. All of the rooms faced the river. We had a nice king size bed and TV in the room plus our private bathroom. The inn was very clean, comfy and quaint. The restaurant was wonderful as well as the bar- loved sitting around the fire with a drink on a cold wintry evening. I would go back again.

Visiting Peddlers Village the 1740 House was the perfect location. About 4 miles away from Peddlers but not nearly as congested. Quaint, quality Inn located right on the Delaware River. Highly Recommend
