Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites Statesville by IHG

Traffic side is very noisy with interstate traffic. Breakfast modest but adequate. Nobody used the pancake maker. Looked too intimidating. Pizza place across from parking lot is good

This Holiday Inn isn’t as modern as others I’ve stayed at, but the friendly front desk staff and exceptional Housekeeping (shoutout to Leticia) made up for it. A few extra touches stood out—my queen suite had a sink and cabinet storage in addition to the usual mini fridge, Keurig coffee maker, and microwave. The only thing I didn't like was having only one sink instead of two. Otherwise, the room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the cinnamon buns at breakfast were a highlight. Coffee and cucumber water were available 24/7, which was a nice touch. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for its convenient location near the highway, stores, and dining. A large grocery store and gas station are literally right across the street.

Served its purpose, got off the interstate and have a quiet night, continue travel the next morning

We just stopped here on our way from OH to GA & only stayed about 11 hrs to sleep. BUT we had a very quick check in at around 9pm, the receptionist was very nice, & our room was ready. My biggest thing in a hotel is cleanliness and the room smelled clean & looked clean right away. Everything was very good! Only tiny complaint is how thin the walls/ceilings are and with it being close to the highway you hear everything. But didn’t ruin our stay!

Breakfast options were good. Pool was nice for the kids. Had to move rooms because we had a cockroach running around our room. Front desk moved us to a new room. Otherwise, everything else was fine

Very nice

Our first room smelled like something had died. Our TV wouldn’t work so they offered a new room which we gladly took mostly because of the smell. The new room smelled a bit like cigarettes but so much better than the dead thing. Pool area was really gross. Looked like someone has opened a diaper all over the deck. Chairs were filthy, tables were dirty. I had to use a towel to sit. Smelled awful. Kids only started a few minutes. Beds were fine, we appreciate the pull out as an extra bed and all extra bedding was already there. Haven’t had the breakfast yet but fingers crossed.

Very noisy at night, windows don’t block the sound.
