Duke of Marlborough Hotel

Food was excellent - best steak I have had in a while. Staff were great and very friendly. Room was lovely and spacious the only minor let down was the shower pressure was not great

Visited Bletchley Park on the Friday and stayed at The Duke of Marlborough before visiting Bleinham Palace on the Saturday. Hotel was clean, staff friendly and the breakfast very good. Would definitely come back again and would recommend a stay to others

With Covid uppermost in everyone's mind, on arrival we put on our masks and was greeted by a lovely young lady who explained the procedures in place. We went to our room after having a drink by the fire and later came back down for a very pleasant dinner. The owner has been there for 22 years but I didnt get his name, lovely atmosphere and would thoroughly recommend

For a four star hotel it could have been cleaner and is in need of a makeover, especially in the bathroom.The staff were excellant and very friendly food was also excellant although a little on the expensive side, I would give this hotel an overall rating of 8 out of 10. We enjoyed our stay!

It was very run down. There was mould in the bathroom. The beds just had blankets and no duvets. Breakfast was OK

Perfectly reasonable sty for one night near Blenheim Palace. Rooms warm and bed comfy. We happened across folk night, which was an unexpected treat!

Definitely worth considering for a stay in Oxford. Prices are good, food was excellent! (despite the chef overcooking my steak), service great. I have only one criticism - the bathroom looked a bit shabby and in need of an update. I would definitely return here though.
