Lovely staff, gorgeous place, just in the heart of nature

Room was ok we weren’t told about the scaffolding around the building and the tv didn’t work properly

The room was well equipped and very clean. The Hotel was not fully open for the season and Breakfast was provided by the ‘Rising Sun’ ( sister inn). Which we were unaware of prior to arrival.

The dining area was fabulous and the location stunning however the single room was cramped and the bed uncomfortable, decor in the room needs urgent updating .

Great location and great views from the room. Friendly and helpful staff. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Have stayed previously a few years back this stay unfortunately the bar and kitchen area were under renovation which we were aware of before we arrived. Bit of a phaff having to get keys from sister hotel and to also have the breakfast there which we declined due to opening hours. No doubt when the hotel is up and running again fully normality will return. We would not hessitate to return again when the hotel is fully open again. Its got to be one of the best hotels in area for seaviews and the harbour from some of the rooms. Hope to return soon

Great hotel for exploring the coast. Room overlooked the river and the sea. The river is noisy from the water tumbling over the rocks which added to the charm and actually helped us sleep well! Breakfast and dinner are I the pub opposite over a footbridge. Would definitely stay again.

Very tired, dated room. ALL furniture and decor had scratches and peeling paint. Having to go to another hotel to check in/out and have breakfast was not ideal. Will not be returning.
