Staff was friendly and the property was clean, probably the nicest hotel in the area

Everything was clean and sanitized and the staff was very personable and efficient. The location is perfect because you can get to the casinos quickly that are in Louisiana and still return quickly to your home in Texas.

The morning front desk girl ruined a five star review for you guys. 1 case of laziness override’s all the good service everyone else provides. The coffee maker in my room didn’t work. I walked down and relayed that to the young girl behind the desk, she stated, “there’s coffees down here, you can use that”. She didn’t offer to fix it, she didn’t offer to replace it, she left it for your next guest. Now, I have to travel down 3 flights just for my morning coffee.

The fencing around the back parking lot was unpleasant to see. The only real disappointment was breakfast. The scrambled wggs had WAY too much butter mixed in. You could see liquid butter soaked in tbe eggs.

We called ahead and the Desk Clerk gave us a very good recommendation for nearby dining. Check-in was fast and efficient. The room was comfortable, very clean, and quiet. Breakfast was certainly adequate with plenty of coffee!

The property was being remodeled and all halls on the floors and the entry and eating area had the walls stripped with loose paper and objects all halter skelter. The property is on the freeway and traffic was so loud it was difficult to sleep. Definitely not up to the standard of other Hampton Inns where we stayed.

Downstairs looks very rough as in they pulled wallpaper off and left it like that. It doesn’t appear they’re actively remodeling.

My room was large ad beautiful and breakfast was especially good, but the halls and lobby were not pleading due to remodeling.
