"Perfect for a short stay in a heart of Old Krakow"

10.0

I stayed for 5 days, and loved the place very much. The staff is English speaking and goes out of he way to make sure we have a pleasant stay. It is a hostel, not a hotel, so some amenities are simpler. But some you just won't find anywhere else. we loved to be right there at the Rynek Glovny, hear the bells, and the trumpet on top of Marianska Cathedral. Everything is within walking distance. We will definitely stay there again. And I highly recommend to stop there if you visit Old town.

"Great location"

6.0

The best thing about this Hostel is its location. Second best are its helpful staff. Third best is the wifi. Everything else is at the standard of a budget hostel, you get what you pay for.

"MIllion Dollar View - Great Price"

10.0

The hotel is in the heart of the old town in Krakow. Its location is about a 10 minute walk with suitcase/backpack from the train station. I was in room 8, a triple, overlooking the main square. Fantastic views. WiFi is fast and easy. The hotel staff speaks English well. The breakfast is disappointing overall, but for the price for the night I really could't expect more. There are no fans either in the room or for rent so it was hot. Lastly, the Krakow main square is loud and party atmosphere. Fantastic for nightlife, but you may have difficulty sleeping if you want to turn in early.

"Hostel 7"

8.0

This hostel is in the perfect location, right on the old town square. The view out the window was fantastic. We had a 4 person room which was adequate, with our private bathroom being located outside the room. The breakfast was included, but very modest. The staff were very helpful.

"Rynek 7"

10.0

We stayed at Rynek 7 for two nights in late November 2011. It was a tranquil haven when we stayed there. I think we were the only two guests the first night and there was only one other couple next door the second night. We had great views over Krakow's market square. The breakfast is simple but enough. You can eat as much as you like. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. By staying at Rynek 7 you qualify for a VIP card in the bar and restaurant that are in the same building. This VIP card gives some really good deals! We were however somewhat disapointed when we ordered two mulled beers in the No 7 bar. Instead of getting a hot beer with orange, cloves and cinnamon we were served a warmish beer with two bitter pieces of lime! Apparently they had run out of these main ingredients for a mulled beer!! Anyhow, this does not in any way reflect our opinion of the hostel itself.

"Exceptional"

10.0

Excellent location, the staff were generally very helpful and friendly. Room was excellent. Only quibble was with breafkast, shame they don't use both kitchens as the one where breakfast was served got very crowded. That is a very minor quibble, would be hapy to stay there again.

"Nice location, cheap price, but not worth it"

4.0

The hostel is located right in the center of Krkow in an amazing location, for an amazingly cheap price, but that's about the only thing this hostel has going for it. It was several very old flats that hadn't been cleaned in a century or so. The walls were nice and painted, but the floors were disgusting a dusty, not to mention that the room we had, had workers doing something outside of our window at 7 in the morning. Also since it's amazingly cheap for the neighborhood, it's full of annoying teenagers that laugh and blast music till 3 in the morning, which the staff does nothing about, notwithstanding signs saying quiet time starts at 10 pm. This was in the "nicer" part of the hostel with a private double bed room, where you would expect better maintenance of the facilities, an un-dusty floor, etc., but you get what you pay for. Next time I'll go somewhere else, as there are plenty of reasonably priced hotels all throughout Krakow with much better quality and service for your money.
