Hostel Rynek 7 - Hostel

It was the end of my trip and I needed a place to land. It was loud because the room was by reception and I could hear the phone ringing, buzzer for the door and hard walking on the floor.I didn't find the amenities that impressive. The pillow was flat, chairs in the kitchen were flimsy and some lights out in the bathroom and my room. The location can't be beat, but be prepared to carry your stuff up three flights of stairs! Reception is a ways up. I also wasn't impressed with the host. He seemed to have better things to do. It's 60/40 for me and not in the hostel's favor. They could do better.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The location is perfect. I made use of the buy one, get one free beers and the discount on food and other drinks at the downstairs restaurant. The staff were great. Very helpful especially the young lad. The only negative was the remains of someone's vomit which had sprayed all over the inside of the window and frame. It wasn't cleaned up and we stopped for two nights. That aside, I would definitely stop again as it represents excellent value for money.

Staff were excellent. Beds were comfortable but too low down. Room was on top floor and too many stairs. Old building so no lift. Breakfast was continental style but was to a high standard. Only complaint. NO TOASTER. Prices in bar below on main square expensive but if you walked 1 street away drinks and food were a third of the price. Trips purchased through the hostel were of good value

was a typical hostel, the beds where relatively comfortable the major downside was no curtains on the window so made it difficult to sleep after 0530. great location and the staff were very helpful, a little difficult to find as not really clear signage but was ok after the first time. breakfast was nothing special, standard fare, good to have though.

Nice hotel, Nice staff and well located in heart of Krakow.

we had booked three nights but moved to another hotel after spending a terrible night at this run down hotel.we had booked after seeing its location which is right on the old market square.

Lovely hostel, friendly staff and very clean. Location is fantastic with views of the main square and cloth hall however this does have its downside as it's very noisy at night. Hostel could also do with some extra signage as was quite tricky to find.

Hostel Rynek is a classic hostel - inexpensive and minimalist. Staff was however informative and cheerful at all times. The location is superb. Breakfast included in price of room. Bathroom facilities simple and not in room - though private. Hostel is up flights of stairs and no elevator. All in all, if price is a consideration (even if not and you are on a pilgrimage of any sort) consider Hostel Rynek.

It was amazing. All the employees are very kind. All my roommates were splendid.

Location Location Location, it is perfect being a few doors away from St Mary Church in Market Square, Staff were superb, they would go out of their way to help you. The view from my window was excellent, straight onto Market square, I enjoyed a coffee & watched the square from my window. Price was excellent. Bed linen (Sheets) was/were very clean but quilts & pillows could have been a little cleaner but it is a hostel. Couple of tips: Salt mine is one bus number 304, buy your bus ticket from a ticket booth & validate it on the bus, you will know when you arrive at the salt mine it's obvious. Do the two free waling tours of Jewish Qtr & Old town Auschwitz trip from City Tours Opposite Mcdonalds by St Florian's Gate, 90 PLN = £18 best you will find & the tour is no different from the more expensive ones
