Newstead Belmont Hills Golf Resort & Spa

The staff were very welcoming, kind and always helpful! The shuttles to the beach, golf course and water shuttle are fabulous! Special thank you to Captain Matthew on the water taxi!!!

We loved the location, the architecture, the facilities, the Shuttle to Belmont and the Ferry Shuttle to Hamilton, the staff, the restaurant. We live in the UK but lived in Bermuda for 40+ years, this will be our "go-too" place to stay going forward!

Our room felt a little tired and the bedding was a bit uncomfortable - but these are tiny things in comparison with what was good about our Newstead stay!

Pool was great and staff were friendly and helpful. No bookings at the spa, limited drinks at pool bar and the tennis courts were closed for renovations which was not mentioned until we checked it.

Amazing views especially from the gorgeous infinity pool. Spacious room, modern and clean, with a great restaurant onsite. Close to town and the south shore beaches. Ferry stop out front, well worth taking to view the shoreline from a different perspective (or to go into town).

Beautiful hotel with fantastic customer service. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

The location across the harbor from Hamilton is superb. The infinity pool and hot tub had just been renovated and were gorgeous. But our room down in one of the older buildings near the water was in desperate need of work. The bathroom faucet had completely failed and it took two attempts over two days to get someone to look at it...when they came it fell apart on them. Bathroom was grubby, moldy and in need of a refresh. Tiles were loose, flooring in front of patio damaged. Bed was good and sheets clean. Staff at reception were not very receptive...both to us saying there was a problem with the bathroom and when we asked for a late checkout (which the paperwork said we could get).

We had a lovely time. The whole team was very friendly and helpful. The shuttle to the golf course and the ferry are super useful. The rooms are nice and spacious with good views across the sound. Some of the decor and condition is a little bit old/worn. But this didn’t affect our enjoyment. The tennis courts and the pool were closed for renovations, so we weren’t able to use them

The Newstead was perfect for our family of four. We stayes in a two bedroom condo with beautiful water views. The staff were very friendly and super helpful with recommendations and they happily accomodated our requests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the property. We took advantage of the golf course and spa. The only downside was that the pool was under construction and not usable, but we had access to a newrby property with a pool and beach access.

The staff were amazing and knowledgeable! Great recommendations for excursions and helped greatly with all logistics.
