This was my second stay here with my wife, and was good all in all. This is an older style motel but theyve done a pretty good job of maintaining and updating. It actually has a bit of a sentimental, retro feel. Has always been clean. Can't beat the ocean front location (especially for the price). Staff has always been extremely kind, friendly, and helpful - except the morning we checked out this stay. Unfortunately the attendant seemed annoyed to be there, was very late putting out continental breakfast and coffee (we couldn't wait after checking multiple timee and had to stop elsewhere for coffee), and wasn't very helpful when asked about getting a room receipt. We all have bad days and we'll assume this was the case for her. We would stay here again - sufficent, clean room with a good location for the money.

Beautiful location

We like smaller hotels and motels and this fit the bill perfectly. All of the staff were friendly and informative. Our room was on the top floor at the ocean end of the motel and afforded a great ocean view. Restaurants were just minutes away. We would definitely stay here again.

The property is simple, quiet, clean, and budget friendly. You really can't beat the price for being right on the beach. The staff were wonderful and helpful. Would stay here again for sure.

With a coffeemaker and small fridge, we stayed a week. Stephanie and her small crew kept our room clean and in fresh towels daily. Debbie, Bridget, and another nice woman at the end of our stay were friendly , helpful and made excellent coffee every morning. There’s a microwave in the office for guests to use as well.. Just a few steps to the beach, and a short ride to the historic district,this place is an excellent price performer.

Best place on the island to stay. It’s the only place we stay

We were attracted to the Beachside Motel because of the wonderful reviews and they did not disappoint! We stayed one night in a regular room that was very nice and two nights in the ocean front suite that had an amazing view. The rooms were very clean and the staff super friendly. We loved the old school feel of the 70’s motel. If we are ever in the area again this will be our lodging of choice.

Loved this property. Location to beach is spot on. Room very clean and well appointed. This is an outstanding price for the location, close to restaurants and everything you need.
