My partner and I recently spent a couple of nights at the Beachside Motel in Fernandina Beach in early December. I really liked staying here a lot! It was away from the hubbub of Old Town Fernandina, yet an easy drive to attractions. The views of sunrises from the 2nd floor deck were awesome! Our room was neat, clean and had everything we needed; 2 very comfortable queen-size beds, plush pillows, good T.V. with a decent range of channel selections, a little refrigerator, and a 4-cup coffee pot with supplies. From our room, it was a short and easy walk to the beautiful beach. I enjoyed lazing around in the Adirondack chairs facing the beach of the patio area on the first floor. The pool looked nice and very clean, but it was too chilly to swim with a cold front moving through. This was a great value, the staff were super friendly and helpful, and I would definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed being so close to the beach. Check in was fast and easy. Thanks Tamara! The room was spacious, clean, and had a small kitchen which allowed us to have a hot breakfast.

"Great little Motel on the beach"

The Beachside Motel is one of my favorite places to stay in Fernandina Beach, only problem is… they STAY booked up! That’s how great this place is. Family owned, no frills, on the beach. Located directly across from The Surf restaurant. Rooms are always clean, well equipped with everything you need. Owners go above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable and have what you need. Location is excellent. Only a few miles from downtown. If you’re looking for an affordable, clean, comfy place on the beach. This is it! But don’t wait to long to make your reservations!
