Rayrigg Villa Windermere (Room Only)

windermere center, self-check in and everything is well organized. Kitchen, bathroom, all good, a pleasant stay.

Very clean, great location, easy to check-in, good value.

The mattress on the bed was so soft it curved in the middle. This was a twin in a double/twin room. It was fine for three nights; just not my favorite.

Nothing, needs shutting down. Pictures do not look like this property.

Everything. Dirt on the carpet, dirt on the walls, dirty light switch, mould on the window, and a door that didn’t close properly. Did not feel safe enough to stay here due to a door that doesn’t close fully. Left immediately and booked elsewhere for the night. Contacted property on the day to give them a chance to rectify - 3 days later still no response. 33 weeks pregnant so cleanliness and security are a massive priority.

We loved that the host were very kind and how clean the entire place was. Any enquiries we had were immediately responded to and on the whole it was a very nice and comfortable stay.

Facilities adequate. We went out local for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Takeaway ok.

Shower drain smelled earthy - needed drain cleaner application. (not available in room of coarse) Fire Alarm system did not indicate which zone was where. There were chain hammers provided for the break glass units, these were not needed for the modern bgc units fitted. No fire-breaks per landing (no sealing doors).

The room was lovely and the location was excellent, near to all bars and cafes.
