Cove Paradise Street

We were very pleased of staying at Cove Paradise in Liverpool. It's a very well located hotel/apartments in Liverpool vibrant area. If you're turisting around I would defenitly suggest this places.

The size and overall quality and comfort of the apartment, the fact I was expecting a 1 bedroom property and instead was offered a 2 bedroom one (a welcome surprise), the many useful/helpful facilities available, excellent power showers, the surprise of an en-suite shower room, comfortable beds, efficient heating if needed (I did use it as I was quite cold). I loved the fully fitted kitchenette, including dishwasher and oven. The apartment was very clean. I liked the security of the underground car park and the secure concierge entry system.

The left hand turn into the road for the underground car park was annoying because of the many one way systems in Liverpool city centre, the timing of the traffic lights and pedestrian zones made it difficult and time consuming to negotiate. I had to come and go quite a few times over the course of the day and just added unnecessary delays to my day. The apartment doors were quite heavy and didn’t stay open. While I appreciate they are fire doors it was somewhat annoying when moving in and also moving lots of things around the apartment and trying to get in the door with multiple things in your arms because they kept slamming shut, with the exception of the shower room door. I didn’t have a night light/bedside lamp in the bedroom so I had to get up from the warm comfort of the bed to turn the light out. The check-in time of 4pm was later than most other properties in other hotels etc. and was inconvenient. And only if you were able to arrange an early check in at an extra cost, you were still only permitted entry to the property for 2pm which didn’t help much time wise. The cost of the parking I found to be a bit steep at £22 for what was in effect not even 24 hours, just a matter of hours considering checkout was at 11am!

Ideal location, excellent facilities, clean and quiet, very secure. We had a room overlooking the Mersey on a higher floor so the view was amazing. So convenient and comfortable it's like having your own apartment in the city.
