"Rain dampened my plans"

Beautiful decorations. Great food. Baths are in 3 locations each with sauna. On the 8th and 11th floor baths you can see the lake. 5th floor bath was next to greenery.

Location. There are buildings all around it. Buildings across the street block views of Lake Biwa. I was on the 4th floor and only had a slice of the scenery because of a building in front of my window. There is not much to do in the immediate vicinity or near the train station. Walking along a busy street didn’t appeal to me either especially since it rained all day .I was planning a trip (the cable car station stop is available by shuttle )up to the top of Hiei mountain but it rained so had to change plans to a farther city.

"すばらしかったです。"

夕食も朝食も大変おいしくいただきました。 5階の露天「湯幻逍遥」が特に素晴らしかったです。

カーナビで示された通りバイパスを下坂本ICで下りて向かったのですが、ナビが示した経路が遠回りだったので、いったん駐車場を通り過ぎてしまい、戸惑いました。 あとで公式HPのアクセス地図も見ましたが、二つある地図のどちらも、建物とPの位置の関係性が分かりにくいと思います。 大きく「湯元館」と書かれた高い建物以外にもいくつも建物があるので、全体がつながっていて、フロントが共通であることを、どこかにわかりやすく示してもらえればよいと思いました。 フロントは駐車場から素直に最寄りの入り口から入ればよいのですが、すぐ手前に、「はなれ葭蘆葦」のお客様専用の駐車場所があったりしたので、もしかして本館や西館は別の入り口があるのかもと思ってしまいました。 しかし、駐車場にスタッフがいらっしゃって、丁寧にご案内いただいたので、長くは迷いませんでした。重い荷物も運んでくださって助かりました。ありがとうございました。

"Maravilloso hotel con onsen"

Elegimos este hotel para quedarnos cerca de Kyoto porque tiene onsen, y fue un gran acierto. Nos gustó todo: las instalaciones son perfectas, el personal es muy amable y atento, el desayuno es muy variado e inmejorable y la cena, que está incluida en el precio de la habitación, es deliciosa. Volveremos sin duda.

El alojamiento está a 20 minutos en tren de Kyoto, pero merece la pena hospedarse allí.
