The Coronet Hotel

I booked this hotel through cleartrip. I was reaching Pune early in the morning ,hence was trying for early check-in. Getting through the numbers mentioned was a herculean task. After finally getting through, I was initially refused and later told to pay half a day's fare for 2 extra hours of early check-in. Finally I gave in and made sure, I killed time and reached only at 11:45 am. I got my check-in done , though the service there is not of top class. Had to wait , just because the porter to open the room was not responding to the managers call :) . The Hotel is not as good looking and spanking as in photographs.It had seen better days earlier. and Now showing signs of age. Nevertheless its clean and nothing much to complain. One particular issue in the room was the smell of cigarettes, everytime I entered. Told them to put some room freshener, but it was the same till the end. Overall good place. But could have been better. Will I stay there again..Not very keen, if I can find something nicer. THe location is good,
