I was not happy with the ground floor room. It smelled of smoke and it was very small for the high price point, so and I requested a bigger room which was much cleaner and bigger. The bed and pillows were super comfy and the bedding and towels were so fresh. I sense that booking through a third party denies you access to Hilton rewards, and I've gets a lower budget room since third parties seems to purchase the rooms at a much lower price, so the rooms that are assigned are lower in quality. That's not cool; if that's the case. A dollar is a dollar to me, so if hotels.com is charging the same price as hotels.com for the same price and I'm assigned a better room when buy directly from the hotel, then it's best I do so and get the rewards from Hilton as well. Therefore, what's the incentive to book through a third party when it places me in a disadvantageos position.

Beautiful spacious room for family (we had 5 adults). We enjoyed the pool although it could be warmer. It is nice that there is coffee/tea and lemon water at the front reception. Lots of breakfast options. 4 stars as it was expensive for one night, taking advantage of the long weekend.

"Hotel is loud and needs soundproofing"

Not likely to stay again. The hotel beds are quite hard. The elevator is extremely loud, heard it throughout the night. There is no sound proofing in this hotel and the doors slam loudly. On the positive, it was fairly clean and the front desk service was very good. Note to hotels that cater to large groups of youth sports: Sound proof your hotels and monitor behaviour. The kids were not the issue during our stay. One of the parents or couches had the room next to us and he was incredibly rude. 6am in the morning he is loading up equipment and luggage on a cart and is slamming everything down and the door was slamming ( as the hotel doors do, rather than softer close, over and over again. This went on for more than half an hour. No one got to sleep past 6am in that section of the hotel (Room 309 area).
