"Great hotel we were visiting HMS Ganges in Shotley so the venue was just what we wanted, not sure ho"

Parking was £10 per night, no reservations, but had no problem parking. Breakfast was £10 per person excellent, food was available 2pm till 9pm excellent choice good quality food. The staff were very friendly and helpful both on reception and housekeeping.

Mattress was a bit hard but everything else was excellent.

"The hotel was a pleasant surprise, much better than expected for a budget hotel. Staff were helpful"

The breakfast choice was excellent. The evening meal was also excellent

There were no towel racks to hang towels once they had been used and could be dried for more usage.

Everything about this hotel was perfect for our needs, especially being dog friendly

The parking is quite limited at the hotel and there is an additional £10 per night parking charge. This didn't affect us during our stay, so it wasn't a problem but at busier times, I can imagine it might be a problem.
