nice location. 15 min walk to the beach. 10 mintue walk to fitness center. 5 min walk to coffe center. In average a Ok hotel. The pool was allways dirty and alot of birds in the pool. good WIFI when the power was working. Not the best not the worst. But ok.

The Hotel was excellent and all of the staff were very friendly and approachable. The buffet breakfast was a big hit with us as we could have both continental and Indian delicacies and the staff took good care of us, they even made my porridge every day without prompting. The Executive room was very spacious and clean, all in all it was a good experience. Both my wife and I would gladly go back there next time and will be happy to recommend this establishment to all our friends and family.

Goveia Holiday Homes is a good hotel to stay near Candolim Beach. It's also close to Calangute Beach & if u hv a car, then it will take around 10 mins by car to reach Calangute beach. Management is good & prompt at everything. We stayed in this hotel for 5 days in March 2012. Initially we booked for 3 days through expedia. Later on when we again extended our stay in this hotel by booking for another 2 days, once again through expedia, we were alloted the same room!!!.....although this depends on availability too......For the record we stayed in an executive suite ac room!!!!....for the entire duration of 5 days!!!...Swimming pool is properly maintained, only the slide that enters the pool is not used nowadays.........food is good....only the goan items are not that up2 the mark, but in general the non veg items which we tried out are good!!!...

We have visited Candolim many times, but the first room we were given at Goveeia holiday homes was the dirty in every sense. The bathroom door was filthy,never been wiped and was rotten at the bottom because there was a constant pool of water by it. The toilet had urine streaks running down the pedistal and the sink was coated in grime. The blankets on the bed has stains on, pillows were grey rather than their original white colour, and the walls were covered in large dirty areas, especially around the light switches. We had requested a pool view and on the first floor: this room was facing the rear, overlooking the rubbish dump and was on the second floor. The toilet in reception was so dirty that desperate as I was, I couldnt bring myself to use it. Water dripped onto my left shoulder as I entered, and onto my right shoulder as i beat a hasty retreat. We asked to be moved but the manager said it would not be possible for 3 days as the hotel was full. After contacting the booking agent, who very promptly contacted him, we were moved to a much better room the next morning.We only had breakfast once, as the state of the dining area was of the same standard as our first room. This hotel is not worth the money and there are many better hotels for much less in Candolim. The only really helpful member of staff was the very pleasant bell boy. He needs a medal.

This hotel is located about a 5minute walk off the main road, it is about a half an hour walk to the main bulk of restaurants, and a 10/15minute walk to the beach. The beach is much quieter and cleaner than the Calangute end. For a budget hotel, the quality of room is more than sufficient. There is a mini bar which offers drinks and snacks at a reasonable rate. There was also air conditioning and cable tv. The staff were helpful and the food at the restaurant was good. The only negative thing was that we did not use the swimming pool as the local pigeons used it as a bath! However, the beach is close enough that this did not matter.

This hotel was very pleasant ot stay in. The atmosphere was really good.

The hotel is in a quiet location, though not near the beach. The quietness of the hotel was compromised by big groups from Delhi, Mumbai & other north Indian cities who caused chaos at the hotel & overwhelmed the guests as well as the hotel staff. This was made worse by hotel apartment owners who carried on with loud, noisy parties lasting up to 3.00 am in the morning. We could not get any sleep & repeated phone calls to hotel reception were ineffective, indicating an ineffective security system at the hotel.

Siamo arrivati tardi alla sera al ceck in, ci hanno rifilato una stanza vicino alla stanza dell'house keeping ,dove squillava continuamente il telefono a vuoto, ed i camerieri facevano chiasso. Sbagliavano sempre a portare qualche cosa nelle camere, e quindi ci disturbavano continuamente.colazione passabile, posizione hotel buonissima.Contando che pero'stiamo parlando di India....tutto sommato sufficiente.
