Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort and Suites

Beautiful hotel property in a key location, close to everything at the beach (bars, restaurants, shopping, beach access). Very clean and well maintained property. Get a room on the beach side or north side, it was very quiet at night.

I received an email stating that I would receive complimentary drinks at the start of my stay; I never received them, and the person at the front desk did not mention the appetizers that were also promised in the email. Another less pleasant issue concerns the parking: I paid $952 for two nights, yet when I arrived at the property, I had to pay extra for parking. $156.14 The charge for two nights of parking is excessive. I also did not receive an invoice for what I paid.

Service at the pool restaurant could be much better and was frustrating . Also slow service from host at Shor. Pool door was not open at 8 am each day as it was supposed to be. Bagel from the market was so hard it could not be chewed. Horrible. Wait staff more interested in visiting than serving. Probably need some customer service awareness training & how to communicate with guests . Front desk people great & accommodating. Nice room . Lots of loud kids . More for families than couples . Beach so crowded it was not an option.
