Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort and Suites

We loved this hotel! Everything was clean and Service was AMAZING. Some info we would have wanted to know in advance: If you are in a room with a full kitchen then you can expect to find 1 stainless steel pan, spatula, utensils, mugs, plates, bowls, blender, pod-style coffee maker, toaster, small plastic cutting board, glasses, and wine glasses. In our room, there weren't any measuring cups, baking sheets, large mixing bowls or casserole dishes. The beds were too firm for us so we had to go to target and buy foam pad toppers but then it was perfect. Guest service will provide salt and pepper if you call. For laundry, they do have a washer and dryer that did not cost extra. We called guest service and they brought us laundry soap. We never had any issues with the noise level and we are on the same floor as the pool. The location was good. Close enough to walk to pier 60 and the nearby shops. We will definitely come back to stay here.

The hotel itself, room, poolside restaurant all good. However, I discovered about 30 minutes after I checked out I had left a fitness ring behind. I immediately called and the front desk staff said they’d check the room. They called back and said they didn’t find it. It was showing in the app it was at the hotel. I paid for an uber from a nearby conference to take me back to hotel as I knew it was there. Front desk staff said room was occupied and they could not check it. I told them I paid for an uber back to hotel because it was showing on the app as there if we could just check again. They refused. I paid for another uber back to conference. I called back 2 days later to check again as I knew it was still there, lo and behold they found it. However, the frustrating part is I KNEW it was there. Paid to go back and forth to hotel and was repeatedly told we did a “12 point cleaning check” on the room, it’s not there. I KNEW they had missed it! The kicker…I had already left town so I had to pay nearly $45 for a tiny ring to be shipped back to me USPS. Would I stay again? Yes. Am I super frustrated over this? Yes.

Our experience with the photographer TJ with Family Sunset Photos was phenomenal. I can’t recommend the service more. The photos were amazing and something we’d never be able to capture without a photographer- and TJ has a great eye, is professional and kind. First- know it is a free sitting fee and 25 mins gets you a bunch of pics. Second- the cost of a couple hundred dollars for several pics was beyond worth it. These pics are edited! But the sunset remains beautiful. It is a special memory to capture.

We hosted my daughters 16th birthday party with family and friends in a 2 bedroom suite. The staff insured it all went as planned and helped us with the set up. They went the extra mile to make sure it was a success and followed up throughout the night. Jamie, the front desk manager is a real asset to the hotel and personally took an interest in making sure it was all a success. There are great people working at this hotel that take service seriously. I can't thank them enough and will 100% be back!

Close proximity to the beach.

Way too many people. Over crowded. Won’t ever go back during spring break weeks.

Great location if you like Clearwater.

Our room was on the 16th floor and at night it sounded like a war was happening above us. The system on the roof was so loud and was vibrating the whole room. We had to switch rooms in the middle of the night because it was impossible to sleep. Very inconvenient .
