Nevsky Forum Hotel

I stayed 5 nights and was pleased from check-in to check-out. Staff was really service oriented and always kind. Helped me to get tourist guide, good recommendations of shopping and services, etc. the room was very clean, I am picky in this matter. High speed internet is really good, that allowed me to work long distance very efficiently. I plan to be back with my family for a vacation in this amazing city and will certainly stay at the Nevesky Forum.

Very nice staff, excellent location on Nevsky Prospect. Very nice breakfast, very good room. I enjoyed my stay in Russia and St. Petersburg is a beautiful city. I do not speak Russian and Russia was difficult to get around in.

Very good small hotel right in Nevsky Prospect. Good breakfast. Overpriced restaurant but meal was good too. No tea, coffee in rooms.

From check in til check out, the entire staff at this boutique hotel, ideally located on the premiere Nevsky Prospect avenue, went all out to welcome me and make my 15 night stay as pleasant as possible. I went on recommendation of a colleague and will also gladly recommend this hotel to other travelers. At only 29 rooms, and never fully occupied, there was always quiet and privacy. It is family friendly, and once I even saw a dog with a guest. The room is smaller and unlike most American hotels/motels, but nicely furnished and lacked nothing significant. This was a first time/only time visit to Russia. My friend lives in St Petersburg and served as a tour guide, but the front desk staff helped with concierge assistance with knowledge and good attitude. For convenience, there is a metro stop almost next door and bus stops 100m up or down the boulevard. I felt quite the foreigner in the city center, as this (late December) is not high tourist season. Not enough English used locally. I was able to visit many exhibitions, restaurants, shops, museums, churches and palaces....and the ballet. The downsides of the experience included dreary and sloppy winter weather, little sunshine, crowded public transportation (but shorter queues at museums) and a surprising lack of enough use of English everywhere. I fell victim to pick pockets on New Years Eve, and lost my wallet (never carry your passport, IDs or credit cards!). The hotel helped with a police report.

The Hotel Forum was wonderful. Intimate, easy to find, right by the metro, and in a nice part of town. The staff was friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay easy. They also had a really great breakfast buffet included. I couldn't have asked for more in our stay!

Comfortable and well situated hotel with really friendly and kind staff. The breakfasts were really good too.

Well located on Nevsky Prospekt next to tube station. The staff were very helpful, friendly and spoke good English. We were invited to the hotel's complimentary Beaujolais Nouveaux evening which was entertaining. I would suggest asking for a room to the rear as NP is a bit of a raceway in the early hours. The rooms are a good size but the décor is rather dark for modern English taste. We would be happy to stay here again.

Apart from rather thin towels very nice hotel. Found Reception really helpful arranging taxis and restaurant bookings. Hotel restaurant ok for breakfast but would probably be a bit dim for dinner. Breakfast acceptable but limited choice of fruit. We had a 'design' room which was nicely furnished. Despite facing onto the busy Nevsky Pr was quiet.
