Nevsky Forum was the perfect place to base our week's stay in St. Petersburg. Next door to the metro, on the main boulevard...a great location! Breakfast was outstanding!

Nevsky forum was a very nice trip for us. It is very close to the Moscovskaya train station and right on top of Mayakovskaya metro station, not to mention being right on Nevsky Prospekt! The location was perfect for exploring the museums and tourist locations in the city. The staff at the front desk were exceptionally friendly and helpful; they have good recommendations, are very polite, speak some English, and let us leave our luggage after checkout until our overnight train left. The complimentary hot breakfast is not great (the American breakfast comes with French fries and cold baked beans, hah!) but the Russian foods in the buffet make up for it (good blini). The servers in the restaurant were very kind, with prompt service, and spoke English (well enough to bring my husband some Tabasco for his eggs). The room was exceptionally spacious and very comfortable, quiet and had free fast wifi. However we didn't spend much time in the hotel since Nevsky Prospekt has so much to do close by, with a lot of good bars, restaurants and cafes within a few blocks.

The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. We arrived well before check in time and they allowed us to check in early. That was very much appreciated since we had been awake over 24 hours and quite tired. The breakfast buffet was excellent and our waiter couldn't have been nicer. There was fresh fruit, oatmeal, assorted cheeses, homemade yogurt plus made to order items. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom shower had adjustable water pressure that ranged from a light mist to a fire hose! There was no any counter space in the bathroom but that is my only negative. The hotel will arrange for a driver to pick you up at the airport. It is more expensive than hailing a cab but I recommend this service. The staff will call a taxi for the return to the airport if you want to save a little money on the way back. The location is terrific. Step out the front door and you're already in the heart of the city. It is a 30 minute walk to the Hermitage but if you want to stroll, there are many sites along the way.

Really enjoyed our stay at Nevsky Forum. Hotel staff was spectacular - no matter if you talked to front desk or cleaning service folks. I was blown away how friendly and helpful everyone was.
