Holiday Inn Express & Suites Clear Spring by IHG

I stayed at this hotel with my fiancé from May 25th - May 28th and it was absolutely amazing. Michelle was AWESOME!! She was always with a smile and an attitude of service that I really appreciate. She got mad resolution skills. All the staff was super nice, complementary breakfast from 6AM to 9:30 AM if I’m not mistaken every single choice was great quality, proper heat and the accommodations are just lovely. Cozy and clean rooms equipped to ensure comfort, privacy, rest, and wake up refreshed. Laundry room was a plus!! Thank you for being so nice! Just FYI: the jacuzzi in the pool area need some cleaning, maintenance and the jets are not working.

I was placed in a room that needed repairs, the covers were stained and there were ants. When calling down to the front desk I was asked to bring the cover down because they were short staffed and told they could do nothing for me because they were completely booked AND because I booked the room on Expedia. The next day in the morning I asked if there were any rooms available and was finally placed in another room for the night which was much better.

The property was close to everything we needed. It was clean and quiet.

Pool was a little bit cold and sauna didn’t work well.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious! And I was grateful that they started breakfast at 6 am, because my daughter needed to be at the softball field by 6:45, so it gave us plenty of time to eat and commute.

Our key cards were giving us problems, but ultimately, that problem was resolved (quickly and easily!)

Excellent breakfast. Desk clerks were incredibly friendly and genuinely concerned that my needs were met. I received a message shortly after checking in asking if the room was satisfactory. Never had a hotel do that before.

The elevator was hot and stuffy and smelled funky!

We were traveling from Cumberland MD to Mechanicsburg PA on our way home just south of Allentown, PA. Having stayed at numerous Holiday Inn Express hotels in the past we expected to be pleased once again with HIE in Clear Spring. We were not. The room was acceptable but not truly clean. The floor was not vacuumed well and there were spots on the bed spread. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Coffee station, fridge, desk and lighting were all fine. The bathroom was not. The tub was not clean and the grout around the tub was stained and poorly installed. There was one towel rack on the back of the door but no where else in the bathroom to hang your towel or washcloth. The floor was sticky. We were uncomfortable. Positively, the breakfast and staff were excellent and the facilities clean, food tasty. We're not giving up on HIE but we were not pleased with our room at Clear Spring.

Indoor pool cold??? Really cold Hot tube didn’t work properly and was little dirty Other than that very nice place

The highlights of the stay was your team, they had excellent customer service skills. The hotel did not match the photo that is on your reservation site(it shows a new 4 story building, and this is actually a 3 story older one)
