Ironclad Inn & Bourbon Room

This is a lovely inn, perfectly located in the historic district near some great restaurants. I was at a convention where there were many big hotels within walking distance of the meeting, but only 3 miles away was this little gem. We had a perfect win room with comfortable beds and a real sense of history. Hot breakfast was included and was delicious. The Susans made our late arrival easy, and were so responsive to my questions about parking.

Air didn’t work

The Kenmore Inn is a beautiful bed and breakfast in the downtown historic district of Fredericksburg. Suzanne was a wonderful host. No pressure. Felt like home but back in time. Self parking right across the street and museums and great restaurants within walking distance. Room was beautiful. An absolute must for Revolutionary/Civil War history lovers and very romantic place for couples. Plan to return and spend more time in town. I travel extensively and highly recommend!

As should be expected of a historic building, the bathroom fittings were not exactly those of a five star hotel, but this was more than compensated for by the hotel’s history, charm and location. Almost all the attractions and restaurants in the historic area were a few minutes walk away, and the location was quiet with easy parking. Recommended.

Really nice late 1700s inn, comfortable, relaxed, wonderful breakfast, lovely downtown historic district to explore, great restaurants, would go back in a heartbeat

Kenmore Inn is our favorite Fredericksburg accommodation. It could use a little maintenance, such as some touch up needed for trim paint and leaky faucet.

The Inn was beautiful, had all the modern amenities needed, came with a full menu breakfast served by a friendly and personable staff. Our room was large and the bathroom was adequate. We were two blocks from the old down town area in a beautiful and historic neighborhood. We loved it and will go back again if we are ever in that area again (which we intend to be).

The inn is in the middle of old Fredericksburg. Most things are within walking distance. The porch is inviting for a drink and a cigar before retiring for the night

My wife and I really enjoyed our one night stay at Kenmore Inn. The room was clean and quiet, and breakfast was great. The property itself has charm due to being a historic building. The staff was really nice and courteous.
