Ironclad Inn & Bourbon Room

The Kenmore was beautiful, quiet, in a great walkable location to town and their breakfast was excellent! Didn't get to try the bourbon tasting they had downstairs in the afternoons because we were on a trip with kids….would stay again and try to fit that in!

I highly recommend a stay here. It’s a beautiful historic house with a friendly staff. I was able to park my car for 3 days and walk to museums and restaurants in the city. Fredericksburg has a lot to offer.

Perfect location. We parked our car on the street and were able to walk to wonderful restaurants each night. but the real differentiating factor was Susan the manager. Her friendly manner made us feel immediately at home. She even anticipated our need for things like a fresh ice bucket. I would not stay any place else in Fredericksburg.

Very clean and well lit. Breakfast was nice too! Don’t forget to visit the Bourbon Bar below.

This was our 2nd stay at Kenmore Inn and really like this lovely historical house very near Fredericksburg’s downtown. Breakfast is delicious and specially made to order.

Lovely neighbourhood. Close to great historic sites, antique stores, bars and fantastic restaurants. Beautiful inn and the staff were very accommodating. The only set back is the lack of security - the front door is 'locked' with a chain lock - no dead bolt.

Great location / proximity to downtown Fredericksburg!!

My husband and I were travelling south from Ontario, Canada and were looking for a place to stay mid-point. We selected this property for the walkable location and the safety of the area. This property is beautiful and well cared for. Our bed was very comfortable, the linens were soft and the room was clean and welcoming. The staff are friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.
