Ironclad Inn & Bourbon Room

It was lovely. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were v good. The hamburger I had was fantastic with my flight of bourbon!

Friendly staff. Breakfest needs to start a 7 or 7:30!

Inn in transition, so I kept that in mind. The shower water in #210 was lukewarm. Room attractively decorated.

The staff was helpful. The breakfast was enjoyable. The bathroom was pretty small! But then, it is an old property!

This beautiful and comfortable bed and breakfast is just a block or two from the Old Town part of Fredericksburg and its many fun restaurants and pubs. Very clean and lovely house, offering a variety of choices for breakfast which was really nice. The Kenmore Inn is about to be renamed the Ironclad so if you see this listed in the future, it is the same place.

The Kenmore Inn is absolutely lovely. It was fresh and clean and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond for me when they learned I would be leaving prior to the start of breakfast service--fixing a "to-go" breakfast for me. The room was nice, bed comfortable. The bathroom is quite tiny, as is to be expected from a property this old. The only issue I had at all was that the water pressure in the shower was so hard it made taking a shower unpleasant. I adjusted the knobs to try to lower the pressure without cutting off the water stream but couldn't find a good balance. Again, I didn't expect modern plumbing in a historic property, but this water pressure was really hard. Regardless, I would absolutely stay again!

Wonderful authentic home in Ole Town Fredericksburg, furnished with antiques. There are spaces to relax with a book or phone and chill. The staff is wonderful, very accommodating, and informative. And surprise, they have a lovely Bourbon Bar on the lower level with a patio!

Beautiful building in beautiful surroundings. Very elegant. The staff were attentive amd friendly.
