GBWonderful stay! We had the Jennifer room which has a sitting area that lets you see the ocean at an angle. Right across the street is a path along the ocean with great views for miles. The room was cozy, the staff was friendly, no complaints!
This is a wonderful bed & breakfast in a breathtaking location by the sea. We felt very comfortable, and the breakfast and wine hour snacks were delicious! You can walk out the door and be next to the ocean, where you can view sea otters, various birds, seals, and more! There are many fine local restaurants and things to do. The staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
USSpacious room, restfully decorated. Extremely comfortable bed, excellent shower & bath- water temp and pressure amazing. Toiletries were wonderful. Wonderful welcome from Ivy on arrival, stunning foyer, the building is beautiful, location is PERFECT. Just 2 blocks from Cannery Row- close enough to stroll down to check it out, yet far enough to avoid all the noise of that busy touristy area. The coastal path walk/run track is right across the road from the property and the views are spectacular.
Coffee machine didn’t work well. Light switches were confusing. Room had a slight lack of privacy as the couple in the adjoining room kept walking by and staring in, instead of using their own stairs. That was a little unfortunate. Coffee pot in the breakfast room was a little broken and it took over 1m to pour a very small cup of coffee . The breakfast, cookies served were delicious.
USGreat location, wonderful facility and awesome staff. We loved our stay at Green Gables, walking along the bay, visiting our favorite restaurants, and spending time in Carmel by the sea.
