USMy husband and I stayed two nights here, and we enjoyed everything about our stay. The room was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The bed and linens were excellent, the decor and amenities classic but fresh, and we could hear the waves breaking. The main building is lovely; and the breakfasts, wine and cheese hours, and the baked goods were welcoming and enjoyable. We had marvelous views of the surf along with otters and shorebirds. The staff was wonderful, and the location was central to everything in Monterey and Pacific Grove. It was a lovely stay.
USThis is a wonderful Bed and Breakfast location. Romantic, relaxing and a wonderful way to pamper yourself or a loved one. We have stayed here almost yearly and the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The light breakfast has always been delicious and the evening wine, cheese and snacks just as good. The exquisite view, visiting deer families, and peaceful evenings make this location extremely appealing and a great place to make memories .
BEUSBeautiful old inn right on the ocean, with amazing views and a great location. The coastal trail is right out the front door, and you can easily walk to shops, restaurants and the aquarium. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the room was lovely and clean, and breakfast was tasty. They also do a wine and cheese every afternoon, have homemade cookies every evening, and have bikes available if you want to go for a ride. All in all, a great place and we will be back.
It was a little tough to control the temperature in the room, but we eventually found an equilibrium that worked for us.
