Hotel Astoria Sorrento

Beautiful and good service.

If you went a relaxing stay please don’t come here, the room walls are basically paper you can hear everything. All night people banging doors, talking until all hours in the night a phone which seems to be in the corridor ringing all the time, the cleaner comes up at 8am banging round so if you want a lie in you won’t get one! I went to speak to reception and the lady basically looked at me like what do you want me to do. No care. Twice I had to complain about noise. Perfect location that’s all good I can say.

It was safe, clean, comfortable for my family and me. You’ll be right in the center of mostly everything. Only thing that might bother some people is that you may hear people outside in your room if you're an early sleeper, but it wasn't an issue for us.

The amenities aren’t as great but the location more than makes up for it

Everything was good stuff was very friendly and helpful. Place was clean and the garden was great. Only thing is the room we had 132 was right beside the maid room and they were very noisy in the morning

Ugly hotel, ugly room, bad food. I asked for shampoo and very rudely I was told to use the shower gel. I said how is it possible that a supposedly 4 star hotel offers just shower gel and soap. They said that they’re 4 star for their location. The room was a corridor with a small bed and the furniture all scratched. The shower was so small that I had to keep the door open to shower properly. The room was not cleaned properly. They just changed towels and made the bed. The food was so bad that we were shocked to find this low level in a 4 star hotel in Italy.

El desayuno deficiente. El personal muy incompetente, tuvimos un problema para encontrar el aparcamiento que nos ofrecían, encima no sabían ni español ni inglés. El hotel bastante viejo

This hotel is such a charming hotel that is right in the center of everything . Perfect for my daughter and I to walk to everything from the port , to restaurants and shops. We stayed 6 nights for my daughter’s graduation trip and would 100% stay again. It is the perfect location to be used as a base for day trips to Amalfi coast, capri, and Ischia. The staff was simply phenomenal from the front desk staff to the breakfast crew. Raffaele and Alessandro made our mornings , both so nice and extremely helpful. We can’t thank them enough. The breakfast choices were plentiful but had a lot of pastries which that is not exactly what we were used to . There was fruit and some bacon and eggs and other items we did enjoy but my favorite was a cappuccino machine . I was able to get my coffee fix .
