Trailhead Lodge

The rooms are amazing and the location was excellent ... can't wait to come back to ski with friends.

Beautiful hotel in steamboat. Room was perfect for my husband baby and I. Well stocked room. I do wish there were more towel hooks, as to need to hang them and reuse since there is no maid service daily. The pool is great and gym good for hotel gym. The service was poor overall but other than tha great place. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful property, great location

We were lucky enough to be able to upgrade to the one bedroom plus den. It was so spacious! Staff was welcoming at check in and were always available to answer questions. Being at the bottom of the mountain was a plus for us. It was so peaceful and a quick gondola ride to ski school and the slopes. We can’t wait to return. My daughter was pretty excited to see donuts and hot chocolate in the lobby every morning, it made this trip extra special for her (she’s 5).

This lodge is very nice. It is close to the ski resort which has a gondola to drop you off right at the base. The amenities inside the lodge are pristine. Everything you need with a full kitchen. The one downside is that there are no ski lockers yet they prohibit skis inside the hotel rooms. The skis and boots are stored in an unsecured area.

Trailhead Lodge is beautiful! The units are quiet and well-maintained, with upscale finishes. We love the pool/hot tub area and the parking garage is a nice feature. Access to the ski village/area is great (via the lodge's own ski lift) and very convenient. The lodge's location is great--in between downtown and the main ski village.

We have stayed at Trailhead several times. The staff is always so helpful. Great location to the base of the mountain. Just a private gondola ride away. We love the boot room. It is so nice to put on warm ski boots.

The facilities were great, clean and the lift to the mountain was awesome. We swam, played pool and enjoyed the hot tub as well. Would definitely recommend.

Second time staying at Trailhead. I was pleased with my stay. Trailhead is clean, comfortable, and in a great location near the Mountain. The free shuttle service is excellent. Two minor gripes: We had to check-in 15 past the promised time of 4pm; the ski and snowboard rack is now located in the garage instead of near the Gondola, which was a very slight inconvenience. Overall very happy.

Trailhead lodge was an easy place to feel at home in. The short gondola trip to the mountain base was an excellent start to the day. The boot room and ski rack were also conveniently located. The staff was nice and tried to do all they could to make you feel welcome and fully suppled for comfort. We did not mind having no housekeeping service for our three day stay.
