Hotel Playa Santandria - Adults Only

Hotel was very well located in a relatively quiet cove. Near some cosy restaurants and within walking distance of other bars if you want somewhere livelier. Overall the staff were hugely helpful and friendly, thoroughly recommend it!

We stayed at the Santandria Menorca Beach Hotel in September 2015. The small hotel is located on a beautiful sandy beach front, close to a road. Even though the 3star rating for this hotel is given, it deserves so much more. The staff work so hard to make your stay enjoyable, with the rooms kept clean each day with fresh towels and bedding, the self-service breakfast room kept fully stocked and evening meal menu choices varied, with a choice selection of 3 starters, main courses and desserts. We stayed in room 307, which had a large double bed, decent sized bathroom and really good shower, a good powerful hairdryer, small clothes line on the balcony for our towels etc. and free Wi-Fi. We also paid the small fee for a safe which was located in the wardrobe. We had a side on view of the beach and could hear the local 14 ducks on the beach quacking from our balcony. Our only slight suggestion to the hotel would be to provide tea/coffee making facilities in the room with a fridge. We were lucky in that we had brought a travel kettle with us but others may have been frustrated by the slight technical glitch in the breakfast room for a couple of days, with the coffee machine refusing to work, so the poor staff were running in/out making cups of coffee for guests. Readers of this review may also want to consider requesting a room facing the sea front as we did encounter some road noise.

Relaxing, beautiful and really close to the beach. The food is always different and good also in the "inclusive" menu. Great views! Pool and gym if you want. I would certanly reccomend it if you search for a relaxing holiday.

Fab location, right on the beach. Staff very helpful and friendly. Could do with more parasols on the terrace. Also the restaurant by the beach could do with some better lighting and maybe candles on the tables to create an even better atmosphere.

What most appealed to us about this hotel on our initial investigations on line was the fact that it is an adults only hotel, whilst we like children we do not want them around us on holiday, very selfish but true. The hotel is very well situated for the beach which is literally outside and is flanked by 4 good restaurants within easy walking distance. The hotel staff whilst scarce are all very helpful and always seem to be busy. Breakfast was superb, buffet style but always replenished when items run low, nice breakfast restaurant setting.

Very good location, close to Ciutadella and also to a lot of beaches; the breakfast is also very good. The staff was nice, always available to help with suggestions.

Wonderful hotel. Very helpful reception staff. No tea or coffee making facilities, however, we asked for a kettle and fridge and both were in our room the same day! We were offered a room upgrade to one of 3 with a terrace and sun beds and were very pleased we accepted it ( for a small fee)
