The food and view

Cleanliness not great

The meals were exceptionally good, the staff were helpful and located on the banks of the lake really peaceful and a good base for exploring the area

The rooms are very dated , worn and need renovation

The location is perfect, lots of trees and beautiful gardens.

The room wasn't clean enough, we didn't have hot water in the shower nor soap.

This is our 5th Holy Land Tour, this time with a small group of Australian Senior Pastors. They especially appreciated the location of the hotel right on the shores of The Galilee, and out of the city of Tiberius making for a quiet and serene stay. While the rooms are not large they are more than adequate, with good en-suites, all clean and tidy. The views from the upstairs pavilion and the hotel gardens across the lake are just beautiful. The large choice at the breakfast buffet was outstanding, and caters for all tastes and dietary needs. The dinner buffet in the evening was larger still. Full marks to the catering staff for an outstanding job. All the staff that we had contact with were very helpful and courteous. After a 3 night stay at the Ohalo our small group departed, but my wife and I had booked for an extra 3 nights, and we are very glad we did. All in all our 6 night stay at the Ohalo Manor Hotel was wonderful. Very recommended!!!

Location

The breakfast is very nice, the hotel's location is quite good and is very accessible and worked very well for our needs, the hotel gives complimentary vouchers for kayaking in the jordan river. The staff is nice.

While the location is convinient, the hotel is located very close to route 90 and you can hear cars passing by constantly. The room was not what we expected from the photos, it was very old, oudated and small, the bed was uncomfortobale and was made from two connected single beds, the shower was rusty and dirty, the whole room was quite dirty in dact. the only window had a direct view to the parking lot so we had to keep the blinds closed in order to have privacy. We expected the hotel to have direct access to the adjacent beach, but in reality the beach is a narrow strip of wild shore filled with vigitation.
