We loved our stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, the staff was extremely courteous and professional, the amenities were lovely, the restaurants were very enjoyable, especially Mistral- and even a beautiful breakfast presentation! We would definitely choose to stay here again, when we return to the Lake Como region!

Beautiful hotel!. Nice rooms and cleanliness, enjoyed my stay except food . Not much good choice for vegetation all !!! So vegetarian be careful . But always can choose somewhere .

Great location

This could quite possibly be my favorite hotel in the world. We loved every minute of our stay and just wish we had stayed longer.

The hotel is beautiful and we enjoyed our first night there. We requested a second night and they told us that they had a room available. But it was not "Lake View" it would be a little less in price. so we agreed to change rooms. However, the second room was not what we had expected, nor did it warrant the price charged. It was dark, with, in my opinion, very ugly wall paper, so not what you would expect in a hotel like this, and for the price! We complained but to no avail, and had I known this was the room, I would have looked for a different accommodation. We were upset that our experience was ruined...

A very unique property offering royal surroundings and facilities

An absolutely perfect location. Welcoming and friendly staff. A lot of old world charm about it.

This is a 2 star hotel claiming to be 5 stars and was an all around let down. The room was old and had very cheap looking gold furnishings and carpet, but it had a very nice, updated bathroom. When I got into the room there was a bug on the desk that I had to take care of and the room does not get very cold, the bathroom is burning up 24/7. The walls are very thin so we were woken up every night at 1 AM by the room next to us coming home. There is 1 elevator per side so it takes FOREVER to arrive and it only fits 3-4 people. During the breakfast the staff comes by your table every 5 minutes trying to take your plate that still is half full with food, it makes it hard to enjoy your meal! The concierge was NOT helpful and actually quite rude (except for Alberto, he was very helpful and nice). The room service menu is sparse, and they are also rude. I am shocked this is a “5 Star Hotel.” Spend a little more money and stay at the Grand Hotel Tremezzo, don’t waste your money here.
