Parador de Zamora

Beautiful property in an amazing location. The staff could not be nicer. I highly recommend this Parador

The staff is excellent . They could not be more attentive . For me , the issue is the inner workings of the bldg itself ir, the a c and the plumbing . There were no a c until our last day there . There also does not seem to be a viable way to control the system from the room thermostat . The bigger issue for me was the plumbing . There was no way to control the hot and cold water functions . You were either fired or frozen . The water fluctuated horribly. There is also an issue with the drainage and the sinks . They seem to be clogged often . I am the owner of several early 20th c bldgs in NYC . I know the issues that can arise and their headaches . I don't want to encounter those problems while on vacay at the price of this hotel .

Beautiful hotel in a lovely city. Parking was easy and more spacious than most, in a nearby paid and secure lot.

The ambience and atmosphere of this Parador is outstanding. Everything from the decor to the amenities outside, is extremely well done and in keeping with this former Palace. The room was comfortable, the spacious bathroom amazing, very clean and quiet and the view spectacular especially being able to watch the Storks on their nests or flying in the sky from our hotel windows was a sight to behold. The breakfast was very good and all the staff very helpful and very professional. Would definitely recommend.

Una propiedad antigua, las habitaciones muy amplias, operado con la vieja escuela hotelera española. Personal amable. Estacionamiento en sitio, e único detalle es que nadie te ayuda con el equipaje, no se si ese sea el estándar para un hotel de 4 Estrellas

This is absolutely a beautiful property, no question. Unique property with good restaurant amenities and it was extremely clean. The front desk wasn't super friendly at check-in, but took care of us throughout our stay. One downside was the bar was closed during dinner, which meant when you came back from dinner and wanted to have a late drink, the only option was room service. We were there on a Saturday night and woke up Sunday morning to find an antique market outside. Great surprise!

Slightly disappointed. It's an old Palace, but the room was just plain and sparce. Ground floor, with window right onto the square, not even a kettle in the room. Everything was alright, but could have been so much better. Restaurant was not cheap and the food was just plain. Lamb, and potatoes, side salad, £28. No seasoning, no herbs, no vegetables. No atmosphere, no buzz. Nothing wrong, just a tad disappointing. Free parking on the square next door, and plenty of life 10m away in bars.

Excuse kitchen could not provide usual food because of the virus, However the kitchen was fully operational. Food not very nice. TOO expensive for services and food rendered

Has free parking. Very centric, located walking distance away from all attractions. Friendly staff.
