Breakfast starting at 8:00 AM is a little late.

Beautiful old building with nice big rooms. Staff were very friendly and attentive. On the Camino trail so good location.

The restaurant food was okay but could be improved. Breakfast in the morning was a bit chaotic and the price is too expensive.

There’s no doubting this Hotel is beautiful, full of history, charm and style. Its location is perfect for Camino walkers. For our experience, the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room, 105, was excellent, bed was quite firm, but ok. Our experience at the hotel restaurant was underwhelming. The Galician soup was disappointing, not seasoned at all. The scallop and potatoe gratin was poor. Sand with scallops is not pleasant or acceptable. Breakfast for 20 euro was also very disappointing. You should expect a quality buffet for the price. My wife was served uncooked chorizo sausage. The Chefs need to pick up their game. They are letting this hotel down.

a standard double room comes with two single beds rather than a double. the breakfast was surcharged.

Location and historic touches. The bathroom was well appointed.

Gardens were closed. Mixed level of service depending on the person encountered. Some went out of their way, others not as approachable. The AC is only turned on at particular times of the year, got to 76F/24C in the room.
