Parador de La Gomera

What an amazing place to stay! Rooms lovely and large and immaculately clean. All the staff incedibly helpfull and thoughtfull.

my wife and I went for trip in the first week of January and it wasn't too busy so was very peaceful. Even though it feels like a small hotel it does have a lot of rooms so I imagine it's less peaceful during peak periods. The grounds are extensive and lovely, the food in the restaurant was very good. I would go again.

Loved this hotel. Service excellent, beds comfy, different from any hotel we have ever stayed in before. Exquisite gardens and wonderful views over San Sebastian and Port. The artworks and sculptures are gorgeous and there is a sense of serenity about the place.

Perfect location with stunning views over the harbour and across to Tenerife. Gorgeous swimming pool and delightful gardens. Room was more than acceptable although not fabulous. Location a little isolated and quite hard to find from the harbour with a car. Nice cafe just outside Parador if you are not partaking in breakfast.

The best hotel that we stayed at during our visit to the Canaries. Overlooking the town of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, it is still easy to access the centre of town via a public walk-way that winds its way up the hillside. Gardens to get lost in which provide a lovely and relaxing atmosphere. Great views overlooking the town, sea and the surrounding hills; excellent views of Tenerife. Our room was comfortable although were had hoped to finally have a double bed! Excellent value for money and a great place to stay in when visiting La Gomera; we will definitely return and spend more time here.

Only one night waiting for ferry. If known how nice it was would have stayed several days. Seldom take pictures of hotels, but pool, gardens, personal courtyard and views are amazing

Excellent hotel, truly romantic. Staff were pleasant and helpful. While having a car would help, it did not stop my wife and I having a very nice two night stay.

Really beautiful hotel, set in a gorgeous cliff top spot overlooking the sea. Well kept and lovely gardens with lots of secret spots and quiet green courtyards to sit in listening to the palm trees and the waves beneath. Friendly unobtrusive and relaxed staff. We couldn't afford to eat in the restaurant but for once, so not sure what the breakfasts are like, but had did have one great meal on one of our evenings and it was delicious and perfectly cooked. Lovely swimming pool and pool bar.

Beds may have been traditional, but too high and hard. Restaurant good but not quite worth the money. Beautiful building and views though. Lots of lovely old dark polished wood and white painted walls. Would certainly stay again.

A wonderful hotel, not particularly helpful for getting the ferry in the morning, but in all other respects a brilliant place
