Parador de Mérida

Nicely renovated, although some renovations are still ongoing. A but like a maze inside though. Clean and nice room. A bit of stale air along the corridors.

The hotel and the room was very nice. The meal on the restaurant was bad we had veal and it was though and gristly we Could only eat a small amount.but we had to pay for it. When we booked we were not told we had to pay for underground parking £20 rather extortionate

Such a unique hotel, very comfortable bed. Staff friendly & attentive.

Old monastery. Attractive simple spaces and decor. Central location in lively town center. Parking on the premises for an exuberant fee. Food is at best mediocre.

Amazing place. Very quaint and made you feel in a certain time period. Room and bathroom were excellent. Service was good. Not enough bar/kitchen service for a 4 star hotel but very lovely

It is a beautiful property and breakfast is good., we had a nice and comfortable bedroom with nice view

Centrally located and easy to find and get to with auto. Has parking. All around nice hotel.

After a long drive, we arrived at the Parador, only to be informed that they were fixing their hot water system. It was a shock to think that there would be no hot water in February, However, fortunately, they fixed the problem. The parador is rather sparse, much like any building built to house the priests, monks and nuns. The rooms were really true to character. We enjoyed the experience, but only as an experience.

Fantastic location. Extremely helpful staff. Not the best English of all time but very enthusiastic in helping and Google translates pretty well these days. Good breakfast. Comfortable bed. Nice temperature. Breakfast was good but no croissants. There's a really cool courtyard which isn't really my thing but if you're into that you'll like it. Overall I would definitely stay here again and am glad I picked it.
