"Luxury hotel with historic roof walk"

Historic building, near town centre. Amazing roof walk on 3rd floor.

Swimming pool not open until June sometime even though 36 degrees and it was full of water!

The parador itself is amazing and the room we were given had an incredible terrace / balcony. It was very peaceful and had a wonderful ambience.

The pool was not open despite being 34c in the middle of May! Although the pool is advertised as ‘seasonal’ it was not specific with dates and we wrongly assumed it would be open at this time of the year. This was a big disappointment as the pool area looks stunning. Recommend the hotel adds dates to its season description. Other hotels we visited in the area had opened their outdoor pools. In addition, the restaurant and snack bar food was overpriced and disappointing. The burgers we ordered were pink despite asking for them to be ‘well done’ in Spanish. When my wife had noticed this after eating some of the burger, the server was apologetic and took it away. We expected a fresh burger but they simply took the existing one off the patty, cooked it a bit more and put it back on the patty! Not very classy. On the positive, the server was very friendly.
