Parador de Zafra

It’s a lovely hotel in the old part of town. We were able to park close by.

We had issues with the lights in our room. On arrival, we lost power for a short period and then it restarted. The following morning we couldn’t get the lights to work. We could see adequately because it was light outside. We reported to reception when we checked out.

Beautiful castle.

Booking bed options was a bit misleading. It gives the option of double vs twin beds, then proceeds to say it’s a preference on the next screen - which I didn’t read as I’d seen it was an option on the previous screen.

La ciudad en si no merece la pena una parada (al menos esa fue nuestra experiencia). El casco histórico es pequeño y un tanto desdibujado.

Im Vergleich zu anderen Paradores tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Das Frühstücksbuffet war großartig, absolut zu empfehlen, kann auch im Innenhof eingenommen werden. Der Parkplatz um 5€ direkt vor dem Haus ist günstig. Also nicht gleich einen teuren Kurzparkschein lösen, sondern sich an der Rezeption den Reservierungsschein vorher holen
