Great hotel with excellent staff and a good pub/resturant, with an excellent breakfast. Pool and gym in great condition, very clean and up to date.
We had a wedding on the night we stayed and didn't know until we arrived which had we known we probably would have stayed elsewhere as the music went on until late. We did enjoy the lovely breakfast and the rooms were very comfortable though. The on-site leisure club with pool was great.

Superior rooms with no bath, a telly you can’t watch from bed and a sofa with obvious ‘stains’ on it. Allied to rude staff and the bizarre response to a fried egg request that ‘we are unable to cook eggs after dark’

The photos on Expedia are taken from the front. I stayed in the annex which was ground floor and looking out on the car park. Felt a bit like I was in a travelodge which is fine but was expecting the old world charm which was how the hotel is portrayed. Comfortable night, and a good stop over, but a little disappointing

Great location, staff were very helpful, especially reception staff. Lovely leisure facilities and great breakfast. Well furnished room and bathroom with lovely toiletries. It was very hot but understand the window didnt open much as a safety feature. Would definitely stay here again!
Very friendly staff and good food. I’ll go there again on route up to Scotland - great if you have a dog
