Hôtel Le Provençal

It feels like 1 or 2 star hotel at best, the room had the ac and the hairdryer, which were the only good thing I can say about it. Uncomfortable beds, the shower where I, a woman size small, couldn’t wash my hair without my elbows hitting the shower walls, nowhere to put your toiletries, neither in shower, nor at the sink. The breakfast was ok, the staff was ok. There is no spot near the entrance where you can park to load/unload your luggage. Wouldn’t recommend more than one night and only if you need to be in the region.

Beautiful little hotel in a great area of Villefranche, only a few streets up from the water. Rooms are fairly spacious, clean with a fully renovated bathroom. We had room 111 with the terrace balcony which we payed 20 euro extra for. Breakfast is great with decent options (French style food plus eggs, waffles, crepes, chia puddings, museli, fresh orange juice). Hotel provides beach towels and beach umbrella free of charge. Courtyard is very cute to sit in and enjoy a drink or read a book. Our only issue, albeit very minor, was the large number of mosquitoes in the courtyard, however with some bug protection this would be fine. Thanks Hotel Provençal, we definitely recommend!!

We stayed at Hotel Le Provencal for 2 nights in a room with a beautiful sea view on the 2nd floor. The room and bathroom were small and clean. The french doors leading out to the small balcony with a sea view was our favorite part of the room. The air conditioning worked very well. The hotel was very charming. There are seats outside where you can have a drink from a small bar. The hotel is a short walk from the beautiful town and beach. We did not need to pay more to be any closer. The breakfast was very traditional. I would have liked more fresh fruit, tomatoes and some greens to be included at the buffet. The people at the front desk were always there and happy to help with anything. This is a beautiful place to spend time away from the crowds in Nice.

Lovely old fashioned hotel and the room we had enjoyed a sea view (and even a view of fireworks one evening). However, maybe not suitable for older people as the road leading up to the hotel is quite steep which could be problematic in extreme heat. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of choice. Hotel staff were very friendly.

Utrolig fornøyd med oppholdet. Renslig og veldig god service!

Veldig bra hotell, og superhyggelige ansatte! Kjempegod frokost. Eneste jeg har å utsette er at vi ikke kunne skru ned temperaturen på aircondition. Veldig varmt å skulle sove i 19 grader (som var minimum) når det er 40 varmegrader ute. Man får ikke kjølt seg ned noe sted.

Gorgeous hotel. Authentic and full of character. Friendly staff, fabulous breakfast in a beautiful garden. Great location for Old Town and the train station. Will return here next time I visit Villefranche.

Lovely hotel, nice and clean rooms, beautiful sea view and great location. Staff is so friendly and service is great! Will definitely recommend this hotel and will for sure come back if I get the opportunity. Thank you to Hotel Provencal for making my first visit to VilleFranche perfect 🙂
